Two major events that has changed my life this week:
Firstly, my sister Moa brought home a pair of bleached mum jeans, bought at a market in Nairobi, Kenya. When she pulled these out of her suitcase I was almost angry, having to go through the humiliation of failing to get them on. I avoid buying new jeans until literally all the others I own are ripped. It always ends with my standing in the fitting room, flustered and warm, breaking down from not able to pull the denim over my thighs even if it’s suppose to be my size. Ughhh, female horror.
But these I honestly slid right into. My ass looks like a plush plum and I feel like juicy thighs is my new favourite thing! I urge you all to get yourself a pair immediately!
Secondly, I’ve started my course in creative writing and it’s dead tough. Monday is the deadline for the whole outline, scene by scene, of the novel that I have to somewhat finish before the summer(!). Monday! Oh my. But don’t fret, my lovelies, it is going fucking great. I know what I want to say, who the characters are and how it’ll end. There is no doubt I will cry a thousand times when writing this, and when not being able to write this haha, but I’ve got a good feeling about this.
