It’s now been two weeks since I packed up and moved back to my lovely city London. A tumultuous time, for sure, but I’m enjoying it.
On my first day back I took the bus to Soho to have lunch with Daniel and drop off my camera lens for repair. Honestly feel so naked and creatively impaired not having been able to use my camera for over a month. : (
We scrolled through our feed and messages on spareroom.co.uk, suddenly shrieking as we got a message from our dream dream home just down the road from where we live! FINGERS CROSSED GUYS! We find out this week if we get it.
Daniel had to dress up for Halloween at work and the night before he still hadn’t found a costume. I jumped in as the lord saviour herself and dressed him up in my blue corduroy flares, my tightest t-shirt and big fake fur to be some sort of 70s version of Elton John/John Lennon. <3 Skinny boys in tight t-shirts is lovely.
The reason why I’m able to move back to London before my course at Hyper Island is done is because the last part part of my program is an internship. For the past month I’ve been completed my portfolio and then sent out several emails. Since I arrived I’ve been to 3 interviews (2 brilliant and 1 HORRID) for positions within insights and strategy! Protein being one of the places. <3 <3 And I’ve been offered two internships!!!
My idol, the older gentleman in pink hair, was there and played Champagne Supernova and Destiny’s Child on the grand piano for the brunch guests. Honestly, the food, the venue and the atmosphere is all I want from life.
I’ve hung out with Lovisa in Peckham, who is one of the best people on this planet. Finally I’m in the same city as this weird, lovely, disgusting creative person with the biggest of hearts! We drank amaretto sours and smoked even if we don’t smoke any longer, and talked about broken hearts, success and art vs life. <34567
