LONDON

image An early autumn bbq off Chatsworth rd last year   Now I’m flying off to a 19degrees autumn in london to dance nonstop at a new club in shadwell, cash a 1k tax return check, kiss Daniel eleven times every hour and stroll between brick houses with my best friends. Back on Monday if I don’t run away and stay there forever.   Linn

Perhaps this town isn’t that bad at all,

Following this day we decided to go out and give Stockholm’s shopping a proper shot, starting with Södermalm. Daniel, Södermalm In the backstreet maze we stumbled upon a garage sale. Södermalm, Stockholm Stockholm’s sunny architecture is stunning. Söders Bästa Loppis, Stockholm Perhaps not the best garage sale on Söder as the sign claimed but cute. We continued down to Nytorget and the lovely store that is Grandpa followed by Krukmakargatan with Nitty Gritty, Herr Judit, Our Legacy and as Daniel put it the best magazine shop in the world Paper Cut. A pretty good turn out after all. Tobias, Södermalm Exhausted we sat down in the sun and my mate Tobias from Hyper Island joined. We discussed his bands and solo project, record labels in general and our passion for documentaries. Majsan & Daehyun, Stockholm Majsan and her boyfriend Daehuyn joined us. Daehyun & Majsan, Stockholm And as the sun set they decided to take us on a tour of Stockholm. Dumpling 58, Södermalm To the best and cheapest dumpling/sushi spot in town. 58sek for hell of a lot food! IN SWEDEN! You foreigners don’t realise how big of a deal this is haha. Dumpling 58, Stockholm Best company ever and whilst eating all the weird things we ordered (like pear sushi?) we discussed insane stuff that happen at Hyper Island, running, Daehuyn’s hometown Seul and he told us about the Korean myth that if you cry and laugh at the same time hair will grow out of your bum! This is such a hilarious super couple you have no idea. We pretty much paid no money at all for the delicious food and walked back home in a pitch black, deserted and chilly Stockholm. Perhaps this town isn’t that bad at all, it’s just about knowing the right people.   Linn

FKA Twigs – Video Girl

My girl crush on FKA twigs must be unhealthy. But she’s twisted my heart once more. (track starts at 02:00) It’s unreal for somebody to be this talented of a dancer and a singer, plus look like a goddess.   Linn

BIERHAUS & BABES

Daniel & SebSeb, Tobias, Daniel & Linn WibergLinn Wiberg & Frida Vega Just had to repost these polaroids that Frida snapped when Seb and Daniel were here this weekend. It was like old times in London, drinking whiskey in my bed and eating dumplings at some unknown restaurant before getting slightly too tipsy on foreign beer. All with my boys.   Linn

Modern Art, Beer & BFFs

It is hilarious/really sad that the only time I document my life is when my boyfriend flies over to visit. I’ll make sure to not sit at home and code/work/design and get out and do stuff more often. Pom & Flora, Sthlm Last time he was here we went to Pom & Flora after I picked him up from the station. Daniel, Pom & Flora, Stockholm I think I kissed him even hundred and whatever times, and then cried because when I get to see him again is when I realise how lonely I’ve felt. Plus that I am a drama queen. Pom & Flora It was freezing outside but as sunny as ever. Perfect Cafe and strolling weather. Brunch, Pom & Flora, Stockholm We ordered their set breakfast which came in eleven little jars and cups and plates. Youghurt with nuts and berries, grapefruit and ginger juice, scones and two other sorts of bread with meats and cheese, plus coffee or tea. Big success. Daniel, Södermalm After making an old lady almost puke from us making out we paid and strolled around Södermalm. Moderna Museet, Stockholm I miss Tate Modern (the modern art museum in London) with my whole poor heart. Previous to moving to London I knew nothing and thought nothing of art, but the first time I went to Tate changed me and it is one of my absolute favourite spots. After that I went to galleries and openings and shows ALL THE TIME. I even joined art school for god’s sake. LOVE ART HATE ART. Therefore I figured me and Daniel should explore Moderna Museet of Stockholm. Linn, Moderna Museet I was relieved to be surrounded by weird and beautiful things once more, but bummed that it was tiny and it cost a lot! Making art only accessible for those who have money to spare is beyond wrong and it makes me furious. Thankfully all stately owned museums will become free of admission again 1st of Jan 2015!! <3 Daniel, Moderna Museet, Stockholm But some pieces in there were sensational. Also fact: we had a brain doctor as a lecturer at Hyper Island who, among other things, mentioned how going to an art event once a month is equivalent as running twice a week when it comes to mental well-being. Marie Laveau, Stockholm Lost on the island where the museums are located it took us hours to get back into town. We didn’t rush it though, just waited for the bus in the sun which then took us on the longest detour. Eventually we ended up here at Marie Laveau. Frida Regeheim, Marie Laveau Where we were meeting one of my favourite girls on this planet. Frida (here is her blog)! You might remember her from when she lived in London in 2012 or when me and Daniel went to visit her whilst she was studying at Miami Ad School in Hamburg? She is now flown to London (breaks my fucking heart) to be an intern at a very cool ad agency. God I am proud. I love her, and she makes me the happiest and I can’t wait for the day when we live in the same city again. Jesper, Marie Laveau And her baby brother Jesper who is the dreamiest boy ever. We drank beers that cost as much as a dinner(!) and talked about Jesper’s two months in Brazil, getting robbed in a hostel, living off a boat on a river in Amazonas and falling in love with Argentinian chicks. Jesper & Frida, Angry Diner When we got hungry we walked up to Angry Diner to have the best fancy burgers with sweet potato chips and truffle mayo and even more beer. Plus the staff all wears double denim which gotta give them high points. It makes me angry that my loved ones are scattered across the whole globe, but then again I love people with dreams who actually make sure to do something about them. I just wish there were more burger nights filled with hugs and laughter just like this one.   Linn
